FOLDING SERIES – SILVER STAG customer feedback and reviews on our folder models has been exceptional. Each model is our own unique design, and over the years, and in our humble opinion, they rival the best folding knives ever built and that cost 3x times as much. Our folding models were designed with the following core product attributes top of mind, functionality, durability, edge retention, comfort, and aesthetic appeal. In summary, they are high quality gentlemen knives that function as good as they look. In addition, they are handmade in America and are an exceptional value.  

 We craft all the blades from D2 High Carbon Tool steel. The blades are double disc ground, heat treated to a 62 Rockwell hardness, and then hand polished and sharpened to a razor edge. We hand craft and incorporate north American antler or stabilized select hardwoods into each finished knife. We even designed the adjustable military grade stainless steel tension pivot pin so each end user can adjust the open and close tension to their preference.

 We manufacture three types of folders, Liner locking, back thumb locks, and traditional notch opening and closing models. Some models include an antler tip lanyard tie that can be secured to the belt loop above the carry pocket. When you need to retrieve the knife from your pocket, you pull on the lanyard and the knife slides up and out of your pocket and into your hand. The lanyard is long enough to allow you to use the knife while being secured to the belt loop. This carry and use method will also eliminate the possibility for misplacing or losing your knife, (unlike the pocket clip carry options). For our larger models, and for customers that prefer not to pocket carry, we have two high quality leather belt sheaths that can be purchased separately.
