OUR FIRST Long Serrated Chef Knife!

We start with D2 High Carbon Tool Steel, double disc grind, then apply the serrations with a milling machine.  Then hone the serrations with a handheld diamond sharpening rod.  We left 1.5" of the tip with a razor-sharp straight edge.  Serrated knives are commonly known and used as a bread knife, but also used for many tough cutting chores, like cutting through frozen food, boning meats, cutting fruits, or descaling or processing fish.  In summary, serrated knives are used to cut through smooth, wet, and/or slippery surfaces.  The serrated teeth will retain their sharp edge 5 times longer than a standard straight edge, and even longer with a D2 steel base.  This is a hidden tang design with select Elk or Deer antler incorporated into the finished knife.  Limited Lifetime Warranty and like all SILVER STAG knives, handcrafted with pride in the USA.
